What will happen after I contract with HEALTH SQUARED’S Primary Health Network?

Once the contracting process has been completed, you can immediately claim as per the agreed rate and perform in-room procedures that can be billed separately.

Does the Scheme send members to me when I am contracted?

Yes, when members enquire about a healthcare provider, we will direct them to the closest contracted provider. All contracted providers are also listed on the Scheme’s website to make it even easier for them to find your practice.

 

How will I know if the code I am looking for is for the higher or the lower plans?

To simplify the process, all codes are the same across all plans.

 

Do the contracted rates include medication?

No, medication can be claimed separately.

 

Do providers have to complete new contracts annually?

No, to keep the process as easy and streamlined as possible, all providers will receive updated addendums and communications at the end of every year. These will automatically be attached to your contract with the agreement renewed for the following year.

What if a contracted Doctor is based at a non - DSP hospital?

Not all options are referred to DSP hospitals.

 

What is the difference between the PCN and Agility Select Agreements?

PCN is applicable to lower options and Select to higher options.

 

Are any HEALTH SQAURED options required to go to state hospitals?

No

 

Can contracted providers charge co-payments?

No
